2013 Tannat [clone 474]  $95
For those of you who like it black and blue, this is your go to. Inky and dense with big brawny tannins, this wine is huge but still surprisingly rich, complex and flavorful. Like a femme fatale it’s dark, svelte and potent.

2013 Malbec [clone 595] $85
Absolutely unique and not easily missed, this beautiful, rare red is a monster in the glass — deep, dark, heavy and brooding. When you taste it, there’s a bit of those things, but more so there are pretty flavors of cranberry, cola and minerals. The ripe fruits are lifted by pretty, integrated acidity and silky tannins.

2013 Petite Verdot  [clone 400]  $85
A huge wine with incredible density and palate weight, and tannins you can actually chew… this is PV, Caldwell style. It’s a warrior of a wine, fit for battle, dinner or fluffing. This vintage has a beautiful perfume-y nose with blackberry and rose petals but the palate is all business with serious Bing cherry, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and savory mineral notes; it’s surprisingly refreshing for such a big, bad-ass red.
